Antique hand coloured and finished engraving with gum arabic by Ferdinand Bauer based on his own watercolour now in the Royal Horticultural Society, published in Digitalium monographia (1821) by LINDLEY, JOHN (1799-1865). full title Digitalium Monographia; sistens historiam botanicam generis, tabulis omnium specierum hactenus cognitarum illustratam, ut plurimum confectis ad icones Ferdinandi Bauer penes Gulielmum Cattley. London: Arthur Taylor for J.H. Bohte, 1821. The book is silly rare and expensive and more of my oddments
