antique hand coloured and finished engraving with gum arabic by Ferdinand Bauer based on his own watercolour now in the Royal Horticultural Society, published in Digitalium monographia (1821) by LINDLEY, JOHN (1799-1865). full title Digitalium Monographia; sistens historiam botanicam generis, tabulis omnium specierum hactenus cognitarum illustratam, ut plurimum confectis ad icones Ferdinandi Bauer penes Gulielmum Cattley. London: Arthur Taylor for J.H. Bohte, 1821. The book is silly rare and expensive and more of my oddments
Image measures 25 x 39.5 cm, This is another of my oddments trimmed to image I presume which will frame well
CONDITION ISSUE Printed to image so half price will frame well one area of thin paper needs a white backing so shown on dark floor
