Description

Edwardian Mahogany Music Chest
An elegant Edwardian mahogany music cabinet featuring a shelved top above six drawers with fall-front panels and matching handles. The cabinet displays a warm, aged patina with minimal wear, and stands on slender legs supported by a cross-stretcher base in good condition.
The cabinet separates easily into two parts for convenient transport or rearrangement. Inside, some fall-front mechanisms show irregular screws that slightly intrude into the drawers—an honest sign of its age and use.
A maker’s or retailer’s mark, “Pioneer Stores Limited, Liverpool,” is present on the top left drawer, adding historical interest and provenance.
This versatile and stylish piece blends effortlessly with a variety of interiors and offers both decorative charm and practical storage.
