Description

Edwardian Walnut Double Wardrobe
A charming Edwardian inlaid walnut double wardrobe featuring two oval bevel-edged mirrors—one to each door—framed by elegant inlay detailing and a central decorative motif. The wardrobe is raised on sturdy bracketed supports and includes a single deep base drawer with ornate metal handles.
Internally, it offers a full-length hanging space fitted with eight coat hooks, providing ample storage. The piece separates into three sections for easier transport and placement.
This wardrobe has a rich patina developed over time, enhancing its antique character. It does bear signs of age, including a historically treated (now inactive) woodworm, some crazing to the left-hand mirror, and a non-functioning right door lock (though the door remains closed and the lock is replaceable). Minor superficial marks are consistent with its age.
Despite these imperfections, it remains a striking and functional statement piece, priced to reflect its condition and beauty.
