Description

This is a good quality 19th century candelabra is of very fine detail and extremely good craftsmanship dating from the late Victorian era circa 1890. The foliate and florifom structure has a lovely flowing naturalistic style with the flower heads housing the candle sconce having multi gilded petals. The central column and circular base are embellished with acanthus and anthemia leaf detail and are surrounded by nine cut glass hanging pendants. This stands 45 cms in height to the top gilding in the centre, (not the candle height).
