Description

This is a gorgeous and rather unusual silver mounted preserve jar. The plain silver lid with a heart-shaped loop finial resting on an elegant waisted panelled clear glass body. The star-cut base reflecting through the glass. The lid with a slot for the spoon. The solid silver spoon dated Birmingham 1908
Hallmarks on lid:
S*B for Synyer & Beddoes.
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Date letter "c" for 1902.
Lion Passant.
Spoon:
N&W for Norton & White
Birmingham Assay Mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "i" for 1908.
Dimensions jar:
