Description

A superb Danish silver brooch, dating from the middle of the 20th Century. The oval openwork frame is set with silver 'pearls' and leaves. To the reverse the pin is secured with a rollover clasp and is marked Sterling, John L, Denmark.
The maker, John Lauritzen worked from 1943 until 1982, producing many high quality pieces from the end of the Art Deco period and embracing Modernist design into the latter part of the Century. Dimensions below.
