Description

Mahogany hard wood and hallmarked silver Continental walking stick or cane.
The pommel to the top is silver, stamped with the 835 silver quality mark and I believe the assay mark for Portugal as well as a makers mark.
Good size silver pommel decorated to the sides with a blank cartouche to the top.
The ferrule is original and made of cast brass.
Mahogany shaft which is strong and will support a good weight.
It measures 90.5 cm 35 5/8 inches in length, the pommel is 4 cm 1 9/16 inches wide and 5 cm 1 15/16 inches long.
It's in excellent condition for it's age with only some signs of age and use as you can see in the pictures.
Minor marks to the silver pommel as shown in the pictures but non have caused holes or splits.
The shaft has no damage or repairs just marks commensurate with age.
Perfect for an every day cane.
