Description

A rare silver 'chatelaine' pincushion from the end of the Victorian era. This charming and unusual example is of the sought after heart shaped form, with a silver panel on each side. Sandwiched in between, is the pincushion padding and it is finished with an attaching ring for a fob or chatelaine chain. Each side depicts floral and foliar motifs in the Rococo taste. A delightful and rare collector's piece. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents, splits or holes. The pin cushion pad is original and is worn, commensurate with age and use.

Depth :- 1 cm.
Height :- 4.5 cms. (to top of loop).
