Description
A handsome silver mounted inkwell from the elegant Edwardian era. This fine and usable piece has a squared cut glass body of heavy glass with bevelled edges. The base is cut in strawberry diamonds which reflect attractively through the body. The domed silver lid is reeded and has a hallmarked silver collar. The inkwell stands in the original fitted square stand, which repeats the decoration of the lid and is stepped to the sides. A good example, both practical and excellent for dressing a desk.
