A charming pair of good quality asparagus tongs in hallmarked silver. These delightful examples are for single spear use and have shaped pads to facilitate gripping the asparagus. To the outside of the arms is a lovely embossed pattern, featuring shells and flower buds. Made by the great Garrard & Co. these are an unusual and practical item of vintage table silver.
