Hi
I have for sale a 1890s English solid rosewood/mahogany mercury barometer in perfect working order and in good original condition.
The barometer was made by Jenkins Bond & Company Of Old Swindon.
The Case
The case is in solid rosewood or dark mahogany and stands 98cm high x 27cm wide with a depth of 5cm it is in good original condition had a lot of wax polish so no cracks or splits.
The Dial
The dial is in original condition silvered ; the barometer has the original marker/pointer again no cracks or splits.
Overall a beautiful barometer in great original condition this is a rare old find , these barometers from the art deco period are going up month on month in price.
