Description

A good quality Victorian brass desk set dating from the mid to late 1800s and originating from India. It is very well made and each piece is ornately decorated. It comes with a pair of brass candlesticks, a long pen tray set on two round feet with handles and a hinged inkwell on an ornate base with a white liner.
It is in very good condition for its age and the brass has been lightly cleaned and polished to retain its natural aged patina. There are some signs of age and use, some minor dinks and dents and surface marks but nothing detrimental or untoward and it displays well.
