Description

A charming early 20th century pine storage chest with hinged lid and metal carrying handles on either side.
The top, which lifts to reveal internal storage is secured by a later added front clasp which can be used with a padlock.
Sealed with a clear wax for durability and to enhance the beautiful existing light pine patina.
Perfect as a small coffee table in the lounge, a storage chest in the hallway or as a blanket box in the bedroom.
Width 76 cm x Depth 43 cm x Height 46 cm.
In good antique condition with wear and tear appropriate for age and use to include age related splits, knocks and scuffs. May display some signs of historic woodworm which is no longer active and will have been retreated as a precaution.
