Description

This is a delightful cased silhouette portrait, installed and dated 1841. The painting is in a lovely burgundy leather case with gilt tooling to the inside. It is lined in red embossed silk and the portrait has a very decorative tooled gilt metal oval mount.

The case measures 10 cms by 11 cms.

The image is 7 cms by 6 cms.
