Another gem from Therle Hughes, of Country Life's resident husband and wife team of connoisseurs. "Small Antiques for the Collector", was first published in 1964, with this Third Impression printed in 1971 by Lutterworth Press of London. Typical of her work, this volume almost overflows with the sort of in-depth information which somehow seems so difficult to find in current publications. Hard to put down, readable text plus fine black and white plates. Hard covers, 222 pages, original dust jacket, now tatty and torn at front.
