Description

A superb Edwardian silver menu or card holder. This wonderful and unusual example would also work well holding a photograph. The main feature is a beautifully modelled and fully cast representation of a Galleon ship, which were used for trade and war during the 16th to 18th Centuries. The Galleon stands on a raised and stepped base and to the underside is the retailer and makers stamp of the great Mappin & Webb. An interesting piece and collectable, usable item. Dimensions below.
