Description

This is a charming Chinese painting on silk dating from the early 19th Century. The work is nicely executed with good detail in strong gouache colours and shows a delicate butterfly among mixed blossom. The painting is framed in an attractive deep rosewood frame with gilt slip. This measures 20 cms by 18 cms .
