Description
A lovely set of 6 antique fruit or dessert knives in their original fitted box. They are good quality pieces with sterling silver collars and mother of pearl handles. Each piece is fully hallmarked for Sheffield, 1921, and the maker Thomas Bradbury & Sons Ltd. They are in very good condition with clear hallmarks. There are some minor signs of wear and age around the edges of the blades but nothing detrimental and the handles are in good condition. They come in their original silk and velvet lined box, with fitted sections to hold each knife. The outside of the box is covered in a nice red material with gilt edge and a press catch to keep it closed. The box is in good condition and the interior is very clean and tidy. There is some wear and minor scuffs and losses around the edges but nothing detrimental and it displays well. Approximate Measurements : Length of Knife : 7" (18cm) Box : 8" (20cm) x 6 1/4" (16cm) The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions just ask.
