19th Century. Ebonised with Gilt Decoration, Boston Style, Rocking Chair (American).

Boston Rocker, American rocking chair, made of solid wood, 1840 – 1890. It has a high spindle backrest with a decorative top panel, a seat and armrests curved forward. The rockers are positioned further back to ensure greater stability.

CONDITION:

Wear commensurate with age. Good structural condition.
