Description

This is a beautiful antique Chinese (Qing) botanical watercolour dating from the mid 19th Century. The well executed painting depicts insects and a butterfly surrounded by native flora.The watercolour is in strong gouache colours on pith and is presented in a neat giltframe with a soft raspberry mount. It is in good condition and measures 38 cms by 28 cms overall including the frame.
