Description

A good example of a small globular match holder with a solid silver rim. The holder itself is made from ribbed glass and the hole in the top is to store the matches.
The hallmark on the silver rim is slightly rubbed but the Birmingham mark can be seen and the date narrowed down to between 1900 - 1930.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some small dinks and surface marks on the silver rim and some minor marks on the glass but no major damages and it displays well. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
