Description

A Victorian polished brass cased marine barometer with skeletonised movement and crescent thermometer, fully serviced and working c.1885. Dished brass case incorporating hanging loop to the top, matching brass bezel to the front with glazed viewing window and central reading marker. Skeletonised android movement visible to the centre of the dial. The dial with weather predictions to the top half along with the retailers name Smith, Plymouth and the original mercury action crescent thermometer set to the bottom half.
