Description

A charming small antique regency mahogany toilet mirror dating from circa 1820. This neat little antique mirror features a rectangular mirror plate supported by reeded uprights, turned ebonised wooden knobs and is topped with turned beehive finials. The base with single drawer and central diagonal inlaid escutcheon with lock and key and small ebonised handles. The beautifully figured top and drawer fronts with attractive mahogany, featuring boxwood inlay and it stands on turned beehive feet. A really good looking small sized toilet mirror, with good colour and patina.

Condition Report:
Good colour and figuring to the mahogany. Mirror plate is old, and foxed with a few small specs and loss of silver, appears original. General wear and marks commensurate with age. Ebonised turning knobs not original; later Victorian additions.
