Description

A set of 3 early 19thc c1830 porcelain plates hand painted in the Imari palette of colours, dark blue, red, gold with some added pink and cornflower blue. The pattern is oriental in theme with a large vase and carnations. The plates have a scalloped and gilded edge and may have been part of a dessert service. The colours and design are typical of a Staffordshire factory such as Davenport. They are in exceptionally good condition with no signs of wear, hairlines or damage.
