Description

An unusual opportunity to acquire a signed, dated and personally inscribed early etching by J. R. G. Exley, produced during his formative Royal College of Art period under Sir Frank Short and based upon one of Rembrandt's great etched self-portrait compositions.

CONDITION
There is age-related toning, occasional spotting/foxing and old mounting tape residue around the margins, all consistent with the age and history of the sheet. Importantly, the original pencil signature and presentation inscription remain present beneath the plate.
