Description

Gents 1950s Morex wrist watch by Montilier.
The watch has a Swiss in-house 17-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Morex, a brand name first registered by Montilier Watch Co SA of Montilier, Switzerland in 1937.
The watch measures 34.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition with just general light marks, nothing serious at all. The screw-on case back has the Morex logo. It also states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture.
The lens is in lovely condition.
The dial has darkened a shade or two with age but still very easy to read the time. Original hands and centre seconds hand.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
