Description
A large antique Vaseline glass wine goblet dating to c1920.
The generous ogee bowl resting on a cushion knop stem with a large conicla foot. The glass displays a pleasing clarity with a subtle uranium tint, characteristic of early 20th-century vaseline wares which fluoresce under UV light.
An example can be seen in the Hill Ouston retail glass catalogue from 1920-30.
