Description
A superb pair of early 19th-century whisky dram glasses dating to c1820.
They have small round funnel bowls decorated with a finely cut band of small cross cut diamonds and bordered above and below by double prism-cut bands.
Annular shoulder knops above central angular knops, with conical feet and snapped pontils.
A particularly fine matching pair of Regency-period dram glasses, combining an unusual bowl cutting with substantial knopped stems.
Date & Origin
England or Ireland, c1820. Period of William IV.
Condition
Excellent, age-related wear. No chips, cracks or restoration.
