Description
George eIII Vellum Indenture Evesham Worcestershire 1782 A George III manuscript indenture on vellum, dated 25 June 1782, being a Lease for a Year relating to property in the Borough of Evesham, Worcestershire. The tripartite indenture records John Stiffley of Bewdley, Sarah Penny and Peter Penny, with William Webb of the Inner Temple, London, Esquire. The document concerns a messuage or tenement together with garden ground and associated premises and appurtenances. Finely handwritten throughout with the large calligraphic heading “This Indenture Tripartite”. The lower margin retains three red wax seals alongside the signatures of the parties, together with contemporary duty markings. The reverse retains the original manuscript endorsement, dated 25 June 1782, identifying the document as a “Lease for a Year.” Good antique condition with original folds, some age-related discolouration, marks and general wear commensurate with age. All items offered by Treasure Trove Worcester Ltd are carefully selected for their authenticity, decorative appeal, and period character. We specialise in antique and vintage pieces sourced with a knowledgeable eye, and we aim to provide accurate descriptions and detailed photographs for every item.
