Description

An Edwardian solid mahogany floor-standing smoker’s stand, the circular dished gallery top with a turned rebate housing the original drop-in glass liner and fitted with a rotating mounted matchbox sleeve, raised on a slender tapered turned column set on a broad circular stepped plinth base.
Designed as a freestanding piece to be effortlessly repositioned as needed, its weighted base provides complete stability while serving as a refined accent in a study or library setting.
Very good antique condition, with a warm patina and light surface wear consistent with age. Structurally sound, complete with its original intact glass liner and ready to place in the home.
