Description

A good example of an antique taxidermy otter paw mounted into a page turner. It has a silver collar engraved "Essex Farmers. 2.3.35" and it is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham, 1934 and the maker C.T Burrows & Sons. It has a beautiful rosewood page turner fitted to the silver mount.
It is in very good condition for its age. The paw itself is well preserved with a good colour. There are some minor surface marks and signs of age and use to the silver collar but nothing detrimental. It displays beautifully but is also a very usable piece.
